Allyson Felix

Allyson Nicole Felix was born on the 18th of November, 1985, from Los Angeles. Paul Felix, her father, was an ordained pastor at Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix worked at Balboa Magnet Elementary School. Felix demonstrated a talent for athletics before she realized her athletic abilities when she attended the Los Angeles Baptist High School. After just 10 weeks of her initial attempt, she placed second in the 200-meter event in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix had graduated high school in 2003 signed an agreement with Adidas. After that, she enrolled at an institution called the University of Southern California and was a teacher in the elementary school. Her first Olympic medal came during the 2004 Summer Olympics at Athens Greece. Felix set an international junior record running 200m in 22.18 secs. She was the youngest ever world athlete to win the 200 meters at the 2005 Helsinki World Championships and defended her title again in 2007, defeating her time-tested Jamaican opponent Veronica Campbell. Felix participated in the Olympics during Beijing London Rio de Janeiro as well as Tokyo consistently placing within the top three of her races.
